Full Membership
Full membership to the network is FREE for BME voluntary and
community groups. Once you have joined up you will:
- Receive regular updates of information through our mailings
- Circulate information about your project to members of the network
- Be able to network with BME groups at BECON meetings
- Collectively influence decision making and policy making
- Participate in events that promote the interests of BME groups
- Influence the way BECON develops
- Access training, support and recognition for the valuable work that you do!
Associate Membership
- Contribute to a more equal and inclusive society
- Support the development and voice of the black minority ethnic voluntary and community sector
- Participate in BECON’s network and become informed from a black perspective
- Receive BECON’s quarterly newsletter
- Disseminate your events and job opportunities to the BECON network of over 100 groups
- Participate in BECON training events (individual associates only)
