City & Guilds announces its sponsorship of the 2009 Apprenticeship Awards City & Guilds are delighted to announce that it is sponsoring the 2009 National Apprenticeship Awards to be held in July. Domestic Violence affects and blights the lives of those experiencing it, their children, their families, their community and the national economy. Interpersonal violence literally costs lives.

Domestic Violence perpetuates inequality and prevents achievement; violence against women is a consequence of the inequality between men and women.
Working within the confines of the Gender Equality Duty, 2007 (Equality Act 2006) Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council are dedicated now to eliminating discrimination and promoting equality.
